A message from the series “Decide! (Hillside Theme – 2024).” Hebrews 10:24-25 tells us that we should assemble with the saints. It also tells us to “stir one another up unto love and good works.”
But what it also says is that we should not make skipping the assembly a “habit,” as some of them did then (and now).
Why do some people avoid coming together to study the Bible and worshipping with other Christians? In my opinion, it’s partially because they don’t see the value in the assembly. In other words, they don’t believe that it’s important.
As Christians, we should decide that the assembly is important. Not just because God wants us to be there, but because we want to be there.
The word for Hillside in 2024 is "Decide." Will we choose to follow God, or will we choose to serve ourselves?
