What's Your Bowl of Soup?
Esau gave up his inheritance for a bowl of soup. Everything associated with Jacob could've been Esau's - the blessings, the covenant, everything else, and yet he gave it up for a few seconds worth of satisfaction. With that in mind, what's your bowl of soup? What is the one thing you would never give up, even to the point of (knowing or unknowing) costing you your salvation? It's different for everyone, and the only way you'll be able to identify it is if you take a long look inside your soul. Once you identify it, get rid of it, because whatever it is, it's not worth an eternity with God.
