If we're going to be truly transformed into the image of God, it begins with our language. Not only do we need to avoid saying outright swear words, but anything that's destructive: euphemisms, hate speech, and profanity, to name a few more.
But it's not enough to just avoid saying bad words, we have to watch our heart.
But it's not enough to just watch our heart, we need to watch what we're feeding our heart.
But it's not enough to watch what we're feeding our heart, we need to admit that our heart now belongs to God. Only when we remove ownership of our heart and direct it towards God can we hope to have actually protect what comes out of our mouth.
