Humbling Ourselves First
Jonah shouldn't have needed to spend a few days in the belly of a fish before realizing his mistake, but sometimes, that's what it takes. Do we need to hit rock bottom sometimes in order to remember our dependency on God?
From Series: "Pray Like This"
When it comes to prayer, who better to learn from than the Master Himself? Jesus was asked by His Apostles to teach them how to pray, so it makes sense that we should go to Him as well. In these lessons, we look at how the people of Scripture prayed -- whether that's to ask for forgiveness, ask God for something, or for justice -- as well as our attitudes in prayer.
