To "imprecate" means to "cast down or pronounce a curse upon." We these types of prayers all over the place in the Bible (both Old and New), but is it ever appropriate for us to use them?

From Series: "Pray Like This"

When it comes to prayer, who better to learn from than the Master Himself? Jesus was asked by His Apostles to teach them how to pray, so it makes sense that we should go to Him as well. In these lessons, we look at how the people of Scripture prayed -- whether that's to ask for forgiveness, ask God for something, or for justice -- as well as our attitudes in prayer.
