Pride is a timeless sin. It has destroyed empires, fractured families, and destroyed relationships, but perhaps its deadliest attack is what it does to our relationship with God. But where does pride come from? In the case of the nation of Edom, it came from their self-assured security in the strength of their empire, but as Obadiah points out, even that couldn’t save them against the judgment of God.

CloseI've heard a lot of people say that worrying is a sin, but that's not exactly what Jesus meant in Matthew 6:25-34 when He said "Do not worry." The real implication was to not have a "divided mind." What does that mean and how can it impact our lives as Christians?
