Shamgar is the third judge – right after Ehud and right before Deborah – but almost nothing is known about him. Why? Part of the reason is because there’s only two verses total about him in the entire Bible, but it could also be because we fail to appreciate what he did in his own time.

CloseGehazi is a "minor" character in the Bible, but his story is a cautionary tale for anyone who wants to "add a little extra" to their relationship with God. Someone in as privileged a position as him should have known better than to lie for a few extra bucks, so what happened? Similarly, what happens to us?
