Ever since Luke penned the book of Acts, people have wondered about his note in Acts 16:14: “God opened Lydia’s heart.” But the text is pretty clear — God did, in fact, open her heart — but two questions remain: How did He do that, and will He do that to us in the same way?

Mary, on the other hand, sat at Jesus' feet and listened. Martha chastised her sister for her inactivity, but Jesus countered by saying that Mary had "chosen the good part." What does that mean?
