A message from the series “Iceberg Faith.” There are some things that we have no problem knowing where to draw the lines on. Items like the deity/humanity of Christ, the Virgin Birth, Resurrection of Jesus are specifically defined in Scripture as marks of faithfulness. Disbelief equal heresy.
But about some of the other items? Where do we draw the line between opinion and doctrine?

CloseA lot of people will say they don't want to come to church because "organized religion is created by humans," and all they want is a "relationship" with Jesus. I get that. But instead of throwing all churches out because of the actions of a few, why not think about the need for the church in your life? God created the church after all -- that's what we should be a part of. Not a religious group full of made up rules.
