A message from the series “Keep Pushing Towards the Cross (God’s Appeal to the Hebrews).” If Hebrews 1 is about the deity of Christ, and Hebrews 2 is about His humanity, then why does Hebrews 3 pivot to a comparison between Jesus and Moses?
The two are not equal. Even in their work in God’s house, there is one major difference: Moses was a servant, and Jesus was a Son.

CloseThe Hebrew writer has explained the deity/humanity of Christ, compared Him to Moses, and now moves towards the rest enjoyed by the saints of God. He compares it to Joshua's conquest of Canaan and then discusses why and how to come to Jesus.
