When Jesus visited the home of Martha and Mary, there was a lot of excitement. Martha rose to the occasion, playing host and making sure that everyone was taken care of.
Mary, on the other hand, sat at Jesus’ feet and listened. Martha chastised her sister for her inactivity, but Jesus countered by saying that Mary had “chosen the good part.”
What does that mean? Have I chosen the good part, too?
