Prayer is automatic. It’s a natural response to the circumstances around us, but that doesn’t mean we shouldn’t learn how to pray properly. The words matter, but Jesus also puts a lot of emphasis on perseverance and confidence as well.

The long-term effects of daily Bible reading -- even for a few minutes a day -- are subtle, but exceedingly powerful.
