Our spiritual family is one of the greatest blessings we have as Christians. It strengthens us, encourages us, corrects us, and supports us when times get tough.
But we only get out of it what we put into it. If we join a church to see what they can give to us, we’ll only find bitterness. If we join a church asking how we can contribute, we’ll find blessings and more.
Which one describes me?

CloseThe audience for most of Jesus' teachings were common people like you and me. The elites -- the ones who claimed they knew better than most - brushed Jesus off to the side (when they weren't harassing Him). Turns out, this was by design. God's message was intentionally simple so that everyday people would be able to listen and learn. Those who would rather argue found nothing but silliness -- to their own demise.
