For someone who wasn’t an Apostle, and who didn’t lead the Israelites out of captivity or call down God’s presence at Mt. Carmel, Apollos certainly looms large in Scripture. But rather than treat him as a larger-than-life, almost untouchable figure, we should draw closer to him to learn where we can grow, personally.

CloseWhen Hebrews 4 says that Jesus was "tempted in all things as we are, yet without sin" and James 1 says that "God cannot be tempted," what exactly does that mean? Was Jesus tempted by Satan in Matthew 4, or was He not? It may sound like an impossible question, but there are points that have to be considered when looking at this Text.
