Is "Jesus Christ and Him Crucified" Enough?
It seems so simple. When Paul went to Corinth (according to 1 Corinthians 2:2), he said that he wanted to know nothing among them except "Jesus Christ and Him crucified." A bold step for a town that prided itself on their philosophy and intellecutalism. But a closer look at 1 Corinthians shows that at these five words -- if implemented properly -- would have fundamentally changed who they were and eliminated most of their problems. Then as of now, a focus on "Jesus Christ and Him Crucified" is more than enough.
