The Pride Paradox
Someone has once wisely called pride the most "brainless sin" there ever was. Not only is it short-sighted, but it leaves the one guilty with absolutely zero to show for their sins. Only destruction. For that reason, pride is a little bit of a paradox. It can make you feel invincible -- super human, even. But right when you feel that way, it begins the start of your downfall. It's a self-defeating sin, and one that many people don't even know they're guilty of (if they are). Why? Because the one guilty of pride usually is too proud to believe there's anything wrong with them in the first place. That makes pride an especially dangerous sin for Christians.
